We the student of VIVA HOTEL MANAGEMENT Celebrated Maharashtrian theme lunch on 26th & 27th of august 2009 .
The menu was served as per maharashtrian tradition. The dresstyle of people serving the food was according to maharashtrian tradition that is boys were wearing dhoti,light coloured kurta & topi.Girls were wearing maharashtrian style saree that is navari saree. The decore was prepare according to maharashtrian tradition. At the entrance of restaurant ‘Rangoli ’ was made .the sitting arrangement was like a maharashtrian style called ‘pangat’ The food was served on banana leaves as per the maharashtrian tradition. The menu for keralite theme was as follows: 1. Boiled Rice(Bhat) 2.Varan 3. Aluchi Bhaji 4.Batatyachi Sukhi Bhaji 5. Kala Vatanyachi Bhaji 6. Puri 7. Ukadiche Modak 8. Khamang Kakdi |
