High spirited people of kerala celebrate ONAM with gaiety and favour. The spectaculam festival attracts thousands of tourist from across the country and globe. the students of viva hotel management conceptuallieed the onam theme on 31st August & 1st sep 2009. Researched on the same & finally put forth ways to execute it With the help of faculties guidance. Students dressed up in traditional keralatic attire &welcomed the guest according to the rituals of festivals. The celebration of the theme was marked by intricate floral carpet called “POOKALAM” which was designed with great delight by students. The restaurant was decorated with coconut leaves to give the keralatic touch to ambience the theme was command by the service of delicious & authentic keralatic huge Lunch comprised of 11-13 courses known as “ONASADAYA” in kerala. The production team had put a great effort to complete the such big menu within short time span. The menu for keralite theme was as follows: 1. Kheer 2. Pacheli 3. Thoran 4. Avail 5. Banana chips 6.
